Over the past two days in English, we have had Gareth in school delivering our Literacy Kicks sessions.

On Tuesday, the children became sports journalists and wrote match reports based on the England v Mexico match at the World Cup. Today, we explored how to create an athlete profile, using the incredible Simone Biles as our inspiration.

We have been so impressed with the writing produced by both Year 5 and Year, well done to you all! 👏📝

A huge thank you to Gareth for another fantastic couple of sessions. We can’t wait to see what next week brings! Literacy Kicks

Year 6 had a lovely Mass this morning centred around the theme of trust. We reflected on how important it is to put our trust in God and allow Him to guide and lead us through our final year at school.

Thank you to Father Jude for celebrating our first Mass of the school year with us. 🙏

Today in Science, Year 6 made their own working models of the heart using cups, balloons and straws! They investigated how blood is transported around the body and explored the important role of valves in keeping blood flowing in the correct direction.

Well done everyone. 🔬🫀
