Students are proudly helping to spread a message of unity, inclusion and standing together against hate through a series of mosaic projects now on display across our campuses.
More than 100 ESOL students took part in creative sessions led by professional artist Caroline Coates as part of a wider community initiative with Tameside Council. The project encouraged conversations around hate crime awareness, inclusion and the importance of reporting incidents.
The finished mosaics, inspired by the theme “Stronger Together" are now proudly displayed at our Beaufort Road and Old Street campuses and look absolutely amazing! 👏

Students and staff were recently presented with a certificate of thanks by Willow Wood Hospice for their work throughout the last year helping to raise money for the charity and support they have provided.
Lisa Pye, Volunteer Services Manager at Willow Wood gave a heartfelt thanks to the college and the Employability Team who have helped to organise a variety of activities with students including enterprise stalls, a fashion show which raised £820 alone and participation in their annual flower festival 💐📈👠
Both organisations are hoping that ties will grow even further over the next year, providing even more valuable funds to help local people and provide all important work experience for students 👏

It’s been a great day so far hosting MACFEST at our Old Street Campus for students and staff 🕌
The Muslim Arts and Culture Festival helps to promote Muslim culture, food and creativity across the North West.
Our students enjoyed some tasty cuisine from across the world, henna tattooing, a talk by a local Imam on his work in the community, lantern making and much more.
Thank you to all the students who came down to take part and thank you to The Civic Mayor of Tameside Shibley Alam for visiting us!
