What an incredible, scorching week we've had at Footlights Tameisde Holiday School! ☀️🌴 We were even visited by a 𝗿𝗲𝗮𝗹 𝗹𝗶𝗳𝗲 𝗠𝗼𝗮𝗻𝗮! 🌊⛵🌺👧🏾
𝗔𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴, 𝗦𝗶𝗻𝗴𝗶𝗻𝗴, 𝗗𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗶𝗻𝗴, 𝗖𝗿𝗮𝗳𝘁 and making new friends... ❤️💕

🍰 Why not come along two weeks on Monday to their fundraiser afternoon tea?

💙 Get a feel for what it might be like to join!

☕ And aside from anything else, if you think your children might be getting a little bored during the holidays, it's the perfect excuse to get out, enjoy some delicious cake 🍰 and a lovely brew! 🫖😊

What an amazing week we had! It was fantastic to welcome a mix of familiar faces and brand new ones, all coming together to have fun, make new friends and create some brilliant memories. 💙

One of the most rewarding parts of the week was watching confidence grow day by day. Some children arrived feeling quite shy and reserved, but by the end of the week they were performing in front of others, joining in with every activity and really coming out of their shells. Watching that transformation is something truly special. 🌟

It was also lovely to see so many kind and supportive children encouraging younger or less confident members of the group, helping them believe in themselves and giving them the confidence to give everything a go. 🥹👏

The friendships, teamwork and sense of belonging that grow through performing arts, whether it's our holiday clubs, weekly classes or shows, are genuinely some of the biggest reasons we love what we do. ❤️🎶🎤

🏆🎉 𝗗𝗢𝗨𝗕𝗟𝗘 𝗖𝗘𝗟𝗘𝗕𝗥𝗔𝗧𝗜𝗢𝗡 𝗙𝗢𝗥 𝗙𝗢𝗢𝗧𝗟𝗜𝗚𝗛𝗧𝗦 𝗧𝗔𝗠𝗘𝗦𝗜𝗗𝗘! 🎉🏆

We are beyond proud to announce that 𝗙𝗼𝗼𝘁𝗹𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁𝘀 𝗧𝗮𝗺𝗲𝘀𝗶𝗱𝗲 has been nominated for 𝗬𝗢𝗨𝗧𝗛 𝗠𝗨𝗦𝗜𝗖𝗔𝗟 𝗢𝗙 𝗧𝗛𝗘 𝗬𝗘𝗔𝗥 at the Northern Stage Awards 2026 for our production of 𝗔𝗻𝗻𝗶𝗲 𝗝𝗿.! 🤯🎭

As if that wasn't exciting enough, a number of our incredible students have also received 𝗶𝗻𝗱𝗶𝘃𝗶𝗱𝘂𝗮𝗹 𝗮𝘄𝗮𝗿𝗱 𝗻𝗼𝗺𝗶𝗻𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀 for their outstanding performances.

This is a phenomenal achievement and a reflection of the passion, dedication and teamwork shown by everyone involved in bringing Annie Jr. to the stage.

To our amazing cast, teachers, production team, volunteers, chaperones and families... 𝘁𝗵𝗮𝗻𝗸 𝘆𝗼𝘂. This recognition belongs to every one of you, and we couldn't be prouder. ❤️

Whatever happens on awards night, being recognised by the Northern Stage Awards is something we'll always be proud of.
