A2 students on our Football Coaching and Development course delivered in partnership with City in the Community, recently celebrated the end of their studies at a special event at Joie Stadium.

The event brought together students from Connell College and Oldham College to mark the completion of the two-year programme and reflect on everything they have achieved.

Throughout the course, students combine classroom learning with coaching placements and represent the college in weekly fixtures against local colleges and teams.

It was a fantastic evening and a fitting way to celebrate their success. We look forward to seeing what they achieve next!

This year's eight PGCE trainee teachers have reached the end of Year 1 of their two-year, part-time teacher training programme.

Alongside postgraduate study, they have balanced home life, work commitments, and teaching practice with real dedication. Throughout the year, they have taught across departments, developing their professional skills and making a meaningful contribution to our studentsโ€™ learning.

Weโ€™re proud of the commitment theyโ€™ve shown and look forward to supporting them as they continue their training journey. Ashton Sixth Form College Higher and Adult Education
