We had a lovely afternoon on Saturday celebrating Becca and chloe’s baby shower 👶🏼

We are so excited for you both on your next chapters and can not wait to meet our new members of our Hirst nursery family 💕

Chloe is now off on maternity leave and Becca is due to go off in one month. We will miss you both lots 🤍

We have had a very exciting week at Chill Out Time Childcare at Hirst 🤩

This week our children have enjoyed exploring a range of sensory based activities focusing on developing their 'Communication and Language' 'Mathematics' and 'Understanding Of The World', through different experiences!
We have enjoyed lots of themed activities based around our terms topic of 'Summer'🌼🏖☀️ and had lots of fun getting stuck into a range of messy play!

We have had some wonderful and exciting tuff trays at Chill Out Time Childcare at Hirst over the last few weeks🤩

Our children have enjoyed exploring a range of activities developing and strengthening their key 'EYFS' areas with a lovely focus of having fun! We have explored lots of sensory activities and had a strong focus on 'Communication and Language' and 'Mathematics'. Our children have enjoyed building on their friendships, learning the importance of turn taking and developing their knowledge and understanding of the world through lots of themed activities. 🤩🌼🌍⭐️✨️

🐣Ducklings🐥

Last term our children had the fantastic opportunity to learn about the life cycle of ducks at Chill Out Time Childcare at Hirst ✨️
Our children discovered seeing the ducks hatching from their eggs in their incubator to seeing 5 ducks hatch into bigger ducks, exploring and seeing what happens as the ducks grow. Our nursery has a lovely focus on 'enhancing the children's cultural capital'. Having the Ducklings encouraged the children to discuss life cycles, learn how to care for animals with gentle hands and experience what happens in the world around them through discussing and asking questions with their grown ups. The experience brought lots of new language into nursery, encouraging the children to expand their vocabulary.

Our children enjoyed watching the ducks walk, run and swim in nursery and enjoyed taking it in turns to hold and care for the ducks, developing our focus of 'Building and Maintaining Friendships' at nursery'🤩
