Norton Knatchbull Students Celebrate A Level Success!
Students and staff at The Norton Knatchbull School are celebrating an impressive set of A Level results, with outcomes being the school's strongest in recent memory and reflecting sustained improvement across the Sixth Form.
This year's results saw significant increases in the proportion of top grades awarded, with a 6% increase on last year in grades achieved at A to A*, over 55% of grades awarded at A to B*, and more than 80% of all grades achieved were at A to C*.
Strikingly, the school's average A Level grade has risen to B-. The achievement marks an important milestone for the Sixth Form and reflects the dedication, ambition and hard work shown by students and staff alike.
Headteacher Ben Greene said:
"These results represent an exceptional achievement for our students and a testament to the commitment of our staff. We are delighted to see improvements across all key measures, particularly at the highest grades, and especially proud that this success has been achieved through the hard work, resilience and determination of our young people and the colleagues who work with them.
Behind every grade is an individual story. Today is about celebrating our students, recognising everything they have invested over the last two years and supporting them as they take their next steps into higher education, apprenticeships and employment."
As students celebrate their achievements and prepare for their next steps, the school looks forward to building on this success.
Congratulations to the Class of 2026. We wish every student the very best for the future.

U15 Tennis season review
We have 2 teams at U15 (A & B) who enter the Aegon Kent leagues as well as playing some friendly fixtures on top of this.
Each team is made up of 4 players. Each player plays a set of doubles and then a set of doubles, so there are 6 sets up for grabs in a match. If the score is 3-3 in sets, then a deciding tie break to 10 is played.
We had a very good amount of fixtures for our teams this summer with 13 matches played.
The A team won 5 of their 9 matches which was a decent achievement as we do play some top private schools and mix it with the best in Kent. They qualified from their league to the Kent Final day at Kings school in Canterbury where we achieved 6th place.
Our B team played 4 matches, winning 1 and drawing 1 of them.
We also entered the Kent School Doubles Championships on Bromley Tennis Cantre back in May.
Big thank you to all the pupils who have represented our school Tennis teams this season.
Please see below our team pics and results.

To complete Year 8's focus on animals in art, students have created their own Pokemon characters and trading cards.
Here is Hanoc's awesome character - Chronoceros, inspired by Chronos, the god of time in Greek mythology, and the rhinoceros, an animal that symbolises wisdom and strength.
