What happens when we take on your SEND Tribunal appeal?
We don’t simply register the appeal and wait for the hearing.
Your named advocate actively manages your case, reviews the evidence, develops the strategy, progresses the Working Document and engages with the Local Authority to keep narrowing the issues in dispute.
Because the goal isn’t simply to get you to Tribunal.
Where possible, we want to help resolve your appeal before you ever get there.
You focus on your child. We help carry the case.

Every EHCP appeal is different because every child and every family is different.
Our role isn't simply to help with paperwork or prepare for Tribunal. It's to bring clarity to the process, develop a clear strategy and manage the detail that can quickly become another full-time job.
Hearing that a family felt supported and confident about what needed to happen next is one of the greatest compliments we can receive.
Thank you to every family who places their trust in us. 💚
If you're facing an EHCP appeal or SEND Tribunal and would like to discuss how we could support your family, get in touch.

If you could wave a magic wand and remove just one thing about navigating the SEND system, what would it be?
It could be something that:
• Causes the most stress
• Takes up the most time
• Leaves you feeling stuck or overwhelmed
• You wish somebody else could simply deal with
There are no right or wrong answers and I’m not looking for feedback on our services. I’m genuinely interested in understanding what families find hardest.
Just one answer is enough 👇

After years of professionally supporting families through SEND Tribunals, EHCPs and Local Authority decisions, you start to notice a few things...
You learn the law.
You spot the same arguments repeatedly before they’re even officially made.
You know which questions to ask.
And yes... we do become that person who gets a little too excited about the law and statutory guidance! 😉
Behind the humour this is something we’re incredibly proud of.
We’re not just professional independent SEND advocates who know SEND Law and have qualifications and experience in health, education and law.
We are SEND parents and/or neurodivergent ourselves!
We understand both the legal processes and the reality of living it.
Some of us are still in the thick of it too, we are not immune to this system and we stand alongside you!
Because when it comes to protecting a child’s right to education, knowledge and experience really does matter.
Which slide do you resonate with the most?

Sometimes, the signs that September might be difficult start showing long before the school term begins.
If you've found yourself feeling worried about how your child will cope, it's worth listening to that instinct.
The summer holidays can be a valuable opportunity to pause, reflect on the last school year and consider whether your child's support is still meeting their needs.
You don't have to have all the answers right now. But understanding your options before September can help you feel more prepared and more confident about the months ahead.
Save this post to come back to when you're reviewing your child's EHCP.
