Kiddie Kapers currently have 2 vacancies available within the nursery.

Early Years Educator Level 3

Hours: Part Time
Hours Details: Monday - Friday 9am to 3pm with 1/2 hour unpaid dinner break 27.5 hrs working week. This is a term time only vacancy with a start date of February 2018.
Desired Qualifications: Full and relevant Level 3 qualification in Early Years Care and Education
Salary: £7.73 per hour

Dinner time assistant

Hours Details: Monday- Friday, 10 hours working week 11.45-13.45. This is a term time only vacancy with a start date of ASAP
Salary: £7.50 per hour

Kiddie Kapers would like to thank all of the volunteers from the NCS - National Citizen Service that came into the nursery last wednesday creating activites on our playground. The children had lots of fun with these out!

💥Can you believe it's 3 weeks today until the beginning of the new term 💥

We have 15 hour and 30 hour Free Early Education places availaibe in our 2, 3&4 year old room.

Every 3 and 4 Year old is entitled to 15hours of Free Early Education for 38 weeks of the year. This can be offered in a variety of sessions between the hours of 8am and 6pm, with the optional charge of adding our delicious meals at a small daily charge.
In Addition to this, we are also offering the new 30 hours Free Early Education, which is available to working parents who meet a certain criteria.

You only have until the 31st of August to apply for the extra Free Early Education for the Autumn term. Any Applications after this date will only be valid form the spring term in January.

‼️This means there are only 15 days left to apply!

So how can you apply?

Just go to: www.childcarechoices.gov.uk

If you are eligible you will recive an eligiblity code, which we require along witht the parents national insurance number, date of birth and your child's birth certificate/passport.
Each application is only valid for 3 months and you will be given an expiry dat, so you will need to reapply and reconfirm your eligiblility. If your circumstances change and you are no long eligible, you will recive a grace period, where you can keep the extra hours at no extra cost. Once the grace period has lapsed, you will only be entitled to the 15 hours.

A reminder to parents that we are closed on:
Monday 4th, Tuesday 5th and Wendsday 6th September for staff training days.

30 hours goverement funding-
We have had lots of questions with regards to the 30 hours that is coming into place in september. You need to go onto www.childcarechoices.gov.uk website to apply. you will then be given a 11 digit code. You are to pass that code to the office where they will validate this. Once this has been validated the places will be allocated. a letter has been given to all parents but please pop into the office if you have anymore questions.
