Today sees the start of our students going back to school!!

We hope everyone had an incredible summer and we wish you all a great first day back.

For those joining us in reception - welcome 🤗
We know the nerves and excitement that is being felt.

Those in year 6 - this it it 🥳
As you enter that final year of primary this is both an exciting time being the biggest in the school and scary as the next steps are coming. We’ve got you!

And for those in between, let’s keep rocking!

Our very own PTFA have new starters in reception and last year attendees in year 6

(there’s also Rachael whose children left 2 years ago but we won’t let her go 🤣 it’s why we are a ptFa 😉)

Oh what a feeling!!

Liz, Krista, Lana and I have had an incredible two years running the PTFA for Willesborough schools!

It’s been record breaking in the totals we have raised.

As we draw the year to a close we want to say a huge thank you to everyone who supported in some way shape or form.

The teachers and team at the school.
Business who have donated prizes
Parent and carers volunteering at events and functions
Parents and carers for their donations
And the children who have made discos, elfridges and craft events a pleasure to out in.

It has been amazing!!

We have our final Annual General Meeting in September where we will all be stepping down and hope to be passing on the roles to a new team!!

Congratulations to all our sunflower winners!! 🌻

We had incredible entries from small to tall, happiest, best in show and best decorated pot.

We loved having them on show at the Summer Fair for all to see and hearing your stories of how they couldn’t fit in cars to arrive 🫣

We look forward to seeing how much more they grow!! 🌻

The wait is finally over! Join us, Saturday 11th July, at the Willesborough Schools Summer Fair for an afternoon packed with fun, laughter and memories for the whole family! 🌈🎈

🕛 12:00pm – 4:00pm

There’s something for everyone, including:

🎭 Live Performances throughout the day

After weeks of watering, nurturing and hopefully plenty of sunshine ☀️, it’s finally time to see who has grown Willesborough’s best sunflower!

Bring your sunflower along to the Summer Fair tomorrow to be judged and you could take home one of our fantastic prizes:

🏆 Tallest Sunflower
😊 Happiest Sunflower
🌱 Smallest Sunflower
🎨 Best Decorated Flower Pot

📸 Can’t transport your sunflower? No problem! You can still enter with a full-length photo showing your sunflower next to a measuring tape or ruler.

We can’t wait to see all your incredible entries and celebrate everyone’s hard work. Every sunflower has its own story, so bring them along and let’s make this year’s competition bloom! 🌻💛
