What is regulation and why does it matter?
Because your training should be held to a standard you can trust.
Because depth deserves structure.
Because advanced reflexology needs clear academic oversight.
In England, regulated courses are overseen by OFQUAL.
This means our Level 5 Reflexology training is:
• both internally and externally quality assured
• taught and assessed at a recognised academic level
• held to transparent, accountable standards
Whereas....unregulated courses aren’t checked at all 🤔
A provider can say they’re teaching Level 3 or Level 5…
but nobody is verifying that the content, assessment or academic level is actually correct.
And if your qualification isn’t from an awarding body, it may not be recognised — or open the doors you hoped for.
Our Level 5 is built on depth, integrity and evidence‑based training.
If you’re choosing a pathway, choose one that protects your future practice.
If you’d like to explore Level 5 training with us, you’re welcome to get in touch.

I'm taking a little family time over the next week, and letting my days move at a slower pace.
I won’t be online as much, but bear with me and I'll reply to any messages or emails next week.
While work is never all that far from my mind - I love what I do! - these pauses are where I reconnect with the spaciousness at the heart of my work 🧡
Rest isn’t only about stepping away.
It’s about softening the edges, letting the nervous system settle, and giving yourself permission to be fully present with whatever (and whoever) is in front of you.
If you’re also carving out moments of quiet this week, I hope they feel nourishing and uncomplicated. A cup of tea in the garden, a slower morning, a breath becoming smoother… all are tiny things that add up to a much more rested version of you ✨
See you soon,

A little update on our auricular reflexology CPD...
I quietly opened the November dates to the waiting list earlier this week, planning to share them publicly yesterday.
However, all the spaces had already been taken by then - so I will be setting new dates soon!
If you'd like to learn system-led auricular reflexology with us at our lovely studio in the Kent countryside, comment EARS below and I'll send you the link to join the waiting list for priority booking as soon as the next dates are open :)

Who is our Level 5 reflexology training for?
It's for the practitioner who wants to go deeper.
For the thinker who wants to understand why a treatment works, not just how to do it.
For the reflexologist who wants evidence‑based training, clinical reasoning, and cutting‑edge techniques that elevate their practice.
Our Level 5 training is for:
• Qualified reflexologists who feel ready for more depth, clarity and confidence
• Career‑changers from medical or wellbeing backgrounds who want rigorous, structured training
• Reflective learners who enjoy thinking critically and studying at a higher academic level
• Anyone who wants to be the best practitioner they can be — and is prepared to study at that level
It’s not about where you’re starting from.
It’s about where you’re ready to go.

Last week some of you followed along 🙏as I posted pictures of our Devon day trip on stories, but after a very long day (5am - 11pm in the car, with only a few stops!) it's taken me a few days to bounce back into the land of the living! 😂
It was lovely to see again after a few months break from travelling to Somerset each month!
We headed to Devon to explore possible venues for our new centre launching later this year.
While we didnt find *quite* what we were looking for this time, we came away with a much clearer sense of what we DO want in our newest teaching space.
I've always felt that while the teaching and course content matter most (of course!), the venue and surrounding area play a huge part in our learners' overall experience.
So this week we're researching a few more options and planning another trip soon. If you're on our list or already signed up, you'll be the first to know when we've found the right place.
And one thing I've definitely learned from last week - Devon and back in a day is FAR less manageable for this rest-led reflexologist than Somerset and back 😴

I’ve been reflecting on our training in numbers this week — not as a checklist, but as a reminder of the journey our students take 🙌
Hours of teaching that become confidence
Credits that become recognition
Treatments that become skill
Case studies that become clinical reasoning
Units that add depth
Techniques that become identity
Weekends that become community
And eventually, it all folds into one thing:
𝗼𝗻𝗲 𝗰𝗹𝗲𝗮𝗿 𝗰𝗵𝗼𝗶𝗰𝗲 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗿𝗲𝗳𝗹𝗲𝘅𝗼𝗹𝗼𝗴𝘆 𝘁𝗿𝗮𝗶𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴
If this feels like the right next step for you, message me. Devon and Kent venues now booking for end 2026 / early 2027 🙌

Treatment plans aren’t meant to be cast in stone - instead they’re living frameworks that shift and change with the client.
In clinical reflexology, the client - and their feet - are always giving us new information.
Subtle changes, something new catching our attention, familiar things softening away.
A plan that worked beautifully last week may need to expand or change direction this week. A small additional technique might be needed, something else may no longer be needed.
When we listen carefully - to the client, to the feet, to our intuition - the plan begins to breathe 🌀
It becomes something adaptive and alive rather than rigid. 🌱
This is where reflective practice becomes essential. 🔍
Noticing what’s working.
Noticing what isn’t.
Asking what needs to be added, what can be released, and what the feet are inviting us to explore next.
A treatment plan is a starting point, but continues to evolve with the client.
It breathes.
And, working this way, so does our practice 🌀
