Happy weekend! 🍂

It's been a busy week here at the studio, so when I head home this evening, I'm looking forward to a cosy evening and a whole weekend off - I'm feeling grateful for a bit of downtime in which I'll *try* not to turn my laptop on 🤔although that could be difficult....!

I haven't made firm plans, but I'm pretty sure some reading, a long walk and will be in my weekend mix.

September for me is always a time of transition - and students at all stages of their reflexology journey!

This month I've taught the final weekend for one group of students who are ready to embark on their in October 🙌🎉

I've also taught our newest group of students here in Kent...how exciting for them to be right at the start of their reflexology training! What a year they have ahead of them!

And at the same time, I've been busy chatting to new students who are signing up for our next group in February - we have just 3 spaces left, so if you want to start your reflexology journey sooner than next Autumn, get in touch, I'd love to hear from you 💜

Back at my desk today after a much needed rest yesterday...this morning I've been using some of my auricular techniques on my own ears as a lovely way of balancing my own energy.

It's been really important to me to use these techniques alongside developing my systems charts, but it occurred to me today that some of you might be wondering - what does 'system-led' mean for my method?

Well, in my experience, it is often easier to learn a new micro area and all the placements - particularly on a tiny area like the auricle of the ear! - when you have a clear understanding of the organs and structures and their micro reflections.

By breaking down the training - and the accompanying charts - into individual systems (and occasionally paired systems) I am allowing those who train with me to build up their knowledge gradually, rather than becoming overwhelmed with ALL the reflections for EVERYTHING all at once.

And the method could just as easily have been called 'rest-led' as I am including as many lovely relaxing techniques as I can - no wonder I'm enjoying practicing it on myself so much! 😴

The first training in November is fully booked, but I will be running the course again early in 2027. Booking opens soon, so hop on to the waiting list to be the first to know!

It's feeling distinctly autumnal today, don't you think?

For me, that feeling is perhaps stronger as I've been without power at the studio all day, and some candles have been needed on this gloomy, wet day.

Sadly, no cups of tea!

But, I'm still scheduling calls about our training here in Kent. As well as our next intake in February, did you see that there is also one last-minute space available to join us this month (link in bio)?
