Can't believe how quickly these weeks are flying by! ☀️📚

Another fantastic week with some familiar faces returning and lots of lovely new ones joining too. I'm so proud of everything my students have achieved.

✨ This week's highlights:

• Smashed lots of learning goals with my students. 🌟

• Our Pokémon project, which somehow led to me downloading Pokémon Go! Thanks, Ralph! 😂🎮

• Plenty of singing times tables songs... if you know, you know! 🎶

• Tate learnt some new tricks, including choosing his own story to read. Even he knows how important reading is this summer! 📖🐶

• Mixed Kent Test revision, giving students the chance to show off their current knowledge while continuing to build new skills and confidence. 📝

• Everyone who works hard gets to take home a little 3D-printed animal as a well-deserved reward. 🦊🐢🐼

Does your child have a passion they'd love to explore?

At Project Club, they'll choose their own subject and spend the morning creating, designing, researching and building a project they're genuinely excited about.

Whether they're fascinated by dinosaurs, space, animals, engineering, art, history, coding—or anything else—the project is entirely their choice.

By the end of the session, they'll have a project they're proud of and new skills they'll use again and again.

Looking for something fun and educational this summer? Here's what's happening next week:

📚 Wednesday – Project Workshop
Let your child's interests lead the learning! Whether they love history, dinosaurs, space, animals, football, or anything in between, they'll create their very own project from start to finish. They'll learn how to research, organise information, print images, and present their work in a folder to take home. A brilliant way to build independence, curiosity, research skills and confidence.

📝 Thursday – Mixed Kent Test Revision
A focused revision session covering all aspects of the Kent Test. We'll work through a variety of question types, discuss what to expect on the day, revisit key strategies, and identify any areas that need a little extra practice. Perfect for building confidence ahead of September.

✖️ Friday – Times Tables Workshop
A morning dedicated to mastering times tables! We'll use games, challenges and proven strategies to improve speed, accuracy and recall. Strong times tables are the foundation for so much of maths, making this session invaluable for children in Years 3–6.

My Multiplication Masters Club on 31st July still has a few spaces left!

If your child finds times tables tricky or lacks confidence with multiplication, this fun and interactive session is a great way to help. Children will learn through songs, games and simple memory techniques that make times tables easier to remember and more enjoyable to practise.

By the end of Year 4, children are expected to know all of their multiplication facts, so this is a great opportunity to give them a head start or a confidence boost over the summer.

Every child will also take home:
⭐ A set of multiplication flashcards
⭐ A booklet covering everything we've learnt, so they can continue practising at home

Our 2-day Drama Club Workshop is the perfect opportunity for children to build confidence, develop new skills, and make lasting memories in a fun, supportive environment.
