Red Nose Day 2025 -

Thank you to all our families, staff and children for all you donations and cakes for our fundraiser day for " Red nose Day" . Throughout the week our children took part in many cooking experiences, craft activities and outdoor garden ring games. We are proud to announce that we raised £130

What a lovely week we have all had , celebrating many events and cultural days such as "Fairy telling week, "St Davids day " ," Nature day " and " World Polar Bear day ". Throughout the week our children have been learning about cultural events and celebrations that are of importance to them.

Happy Valentines Day!

Our children had lots of fun last week celebrating Valentines day , creating special cards and gifts for the people that they love, learning about caring for others and celebrations. Thank you to all our families that joined us for our lovely Valentines breakfast on last Friday.

Our children have had a wonderful week celebrating “World food day “learning about different cultures and food from around the world. Our children showed a great interest created their international food, making their own American pancakes and Japanese sushi. Big thank you to our families that contributed some lovely dishes for our food festival yesterday, we loved trying them all as well as the other cultural foods that our staff made.

Wishing our school leavers all the best for their new journey to big school in September.

It has been wonderful watch you all grow and develop during your time at Goldilocks. We will miss you all !

Next week we will be celebrating Saint Georges Day! Throughout the week our children will be learning about St. George and celebrating the country they live in by taking part in many fun filled activates and experience.

On Tuesday the 23rd we would like to invite our children and staff to dress up as Kings, Queens, Princesses , Princes and Knights to celebrate this special celebration with a royal "High Tea " .

Please don't worry if you don't have any costumes at home, as we have plenty in our role play areas and if any of our children would like bring extra costumes in to share with their peers they are welcome to do so .

Cant wait to celebrate with you all :)

Happy Saint Georges Day!

Happy Easter to all our families and welcome back to all our children and staff that have been on holiday over Easter break, we are very excited to see you all throughout the week.

Happy St. Patrick's Day from all our children and practitioners! Throughout the week our children have been taking part in Irish dancing, gold 🥇 treasure hunts in the garden and lots of St. Patrick arts and crafts. Take a look at our wonderful week ...

Last week we celebrated "Love your pet day" our children created their own vet surgery in their role play areas and had some wonderful visits from some of our children and practitioners pets from home , learning about how to care for animals and exploring pets from around the world.

Thank to everyone that shard their pets, books and doctor costumes and props for our wonderful learning week about animals.

Throughout the week our children have been exploring many fairytale stories such as "Goldilocks and the three bears ", "Jack and the beanstalk " and "The three little pigs ".

During these experiences our children have been creating props, puppets, and images to tell these stories in a variety of different literacy activities and role play experiences. These opportunities have further enhanced our childrens learning of literacy, mathematics and communication and language.

What a wonderful week our children have had ,exploring cultural foods, learning about Valentines day and creating cards for their loved ones.
Throughout the week our children have also taken part in many exciting sensory experience , such as exploring farm animals in decorated sensory trays , learning about textures, smells and giving meaning to marks they make during these activities.
