WT club Instructors.

Many competitive taekwondo athletes miss out on high-level poomsae seminars due to prohibitive travel, costs and scheduling barriers.
To bridge this gap, I am offering a limited series of mobile, high-performance training sessions designed to bring elite-level coaching directly to your dojang.

With extensive experience in competition-level poomsae, my objective is to help you refine your student's technical precision, accuracy, power generation, and mental focus without placing an undue financial or logistical burden on your club or your student's families.

Session Highlights:
Technical Mastery: Deep dives into accuracy of technique and stance stability, exact chamber mechanics, and line-of-sight ex*****on.
Aesthetic & Expression: Instruction on timing, rhythm, and breath control to elevate scores under World Taekwondo (WT) judging criteria.
Competition scoring: Current strategies for scoring and how to avoid deductions to improve performance consistency.

These sessions are structured to integrate seamlessly into your regular training schedule and can be tailored to suit the specific belt levels and competitive goals of your athletes.

In preperation for the coming poomsae events in 2027.
Available to any aspiring Kup grade from white belt to Red-black that wishes to improve their understanding and skill levels of competition poomsae.
3 sessions of 2 hours:
K3 poomsae 1 - 3,
K2 poomsae 3 - 6,
K1 poomsae 4 - 8.

Bluewave Poomsae competition 6th September 2026.
Basingstoke.

An extremely well run and organised event, some top athletes from around the UK and some International athletes too put their poomsae to the scrutiny of the judges.
Great result for Fighting Spirit Taekwondo taking 1st place Gold in the U70 category. Also 1st place Gold in the U65 category for 7th Dan Master Mani Sunwar.

What a busy and rewarding weekend for Fighting Spirit Taekwondo!

🗓️ Friday: We kicked off the weekend holding our local Kup grading. Great effort from everyone testing!
🗓️ Saturday: I had the privilege of refereeing / judging at the 1st Kixstar Poomsae Competition at the K2 Arena, Crawley.
🗓️ Sunday: Right back to the K2 Arena, coaching our student in the Kyorugi (sparring) competition, alongside Bill our 2nd Dan senior, who was officiating as a center referee for the day.

A special congratulations and massive shoutout to one of our junior 1st Dans who made his competitive debut! in advanced level sparring, Despite the lack of prior experience at this level, he put on a fantastic performance.
Stepping up to that level takes serious courage, and despite the nerves, he performed brilliantly. We are extremely proud of his effort and dedication! well done. And well done team.

A good day for Fighting Spirit Taekwondo, 5 students competing and gaining valuable experience. As they step onto the mat the feeling becomes different than your practice session a real test of nerves confidence and focus. A valuable lesson in concentration, under the pressure of being judged and an audience watching on, the mind goes blank and your actions freeze until that training kicks in and you carry on.
Well done team a great effort, one Gold 🥇and three Silver 🥈.
