In every Theatretrain class, children discover that every performer has a part worth playing 🎭

As they rehearse scenes, songs and dances, they learn to listen, cooperate and support one another
— building teamwork skills that stay with them long after the final bow🌟

Being a great performer isn’t just about being heard — it’s about knowing how to listen too. 👂🎭

In Theatretrain classes, children learn to listen to instructions, music and each other, developing concentration, communication and the ability to respond as part of a team.

Great performing skills — and pretty useful life skills too. 💙

Trying something new can feel scary — but that’s where growth begins 🎭✨

At Theatretrain, young people are encouraged to step outside their comfort zone in a safe, supportive and exciting environment.

Whether it’s speaking a line, singing with others, learning choreography or performing on stage, every small step helps build bravery, confidence and self-belief 💪

We don’t just teach performing arts — we help young people discover what they’re capable of.

🎭📚Something very exciting for our Theatretrain Ashford students 💙

We were thrilled to receive copies of The Performer’s Handbook at this year’s Theatretrain Annual Creative Conference.

Written by Theatretrain Artistic Director Kevin Dowsett and beautifully illustrated by Alex Willmore, this fantastic handbook has been created especially for Theatretrain students aged 9+.

Packed with advice, guidance and inspiration, it’s designed to help our young performers develop their skills, build confidence and get even more from their Theatretrain journey — both on and off the stage. ✨

And the best part? Every one of our eligible Theatretrain students will receive a copy completely free! ❤️

We can’t wait to get these into their hands and see them start exploring all the tips, ideas and inspiration inside.

We’re so excited to share this 🎭📚
