🌍♻️ STEM Week is coming to Year 6! 👩‍🔬👨‍🔬

During the week beginning Monday 15th June, our Year 6 pupils will be exploring Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) through exciting hands-on activities. They will learn about different materials, where they come from, how they are made, and then put their creativity to the test by designing and creating their own outfits from recycled materials! 👗🦺✨

We would love your support in collecting clean, recyclable materials over the next few weeks, including:

♻️ Soft and hard plastics
✨ Shiny wrappers
🛍️ Plastic/carrier bags
🫧 Bubble wrap
💿 Old CDs/DVDs
🔵 Bottle tops
📦 Cardboard
🧩 Packing foam

…and any other recyclable materials that could be transformed into a fantastic outfit!

Please ensure all items are clean and washed before bringing them into school from Monday 15th June onwards.

🚫 Please do not buy anything new – the aim is to reuse and recycle materials we already have.

We can’t wait to share photos of the amazing creations with you 📸💚

Coffee Morning & Parent Workshop ☕

Join us on Tuesday 17th June at 9:00am in the Community Room for our Coffee Morning and Parent Workshop.

As part of the Year 6 transition process, KMMH will be delivering an informative workshop for parents and carers. This is a great opportunity to ask any questions you may have about the transition to secondary school.

Come along, enjoy a hot drink and a pastry, and connect with other parents while gaining helpful information and support.

What a great moment for EKC Trust and East Stour Parent Kind leads for winning the Team of the Year award for at the Kent Education Awards last Friday evening. So proud of our school community and dedication from our parents and carers. So grateful for your continued support 🏆💛

We are so proud of our two incredible mathematicians from year 5, who represented the school at the Ashford College Mathathon final on Monday. They got through to the finals, getting all their questions correct, and finishing second quickest. So proud of Tosin and Max 👏🏻👏🏻
