A huge thank you from all of us at The Echelford Primary School.

This week we have a whole school challenge!
All children who display our GREEN Value of Respecting Everyone and Everything by walking sensibly around school and treating our environment with respect will receive a special token.
The classes with the most tokens will be announced and celebrated in Friday's assembly.
We are incredibly proud of how well our children embody this value daily and can't wait to hand out lots of tokens!

This morning, in our school assembly we talked about growing, changing and transitions. Although this can feel tricky sometimes, we talked about all the things that will remain the same in school next academic year and the exciting opportunities that we will experience.

Starting school this September 2026? We have a few limited places still available!

Planning for September 2027? It’s never too early to take a look around!

We look forward to welcoming any new families to our school during our open morning next month.

🚒🚨Our Year 2 and Year 5 students had some very special guests this week from the Surrey Fire Service.

All students were taught the 'Firing 5' ,teaching them 5 main causes of fires and how to stay safe, spot hazards, and know exactly what to do in an emergency.

The children all now have a challenge to complete to see where their smoke alarms are in their homes and if they work!

Rainforest Ranger day🌳🐾🦜🐒

On Friday, Year 5 had an incredible time bringing the jungle to life! In the secret garden, they created a rainforest soundscape then tackled a themed escape room, and crafted a beautiful class mobile featuring all the animals of the wild. To top it off, the children worked in groups during the afternoon to build impressive 3D models of the rainforest layers!

🎉 Year 6 Enterprise Event 🎉

This Friday 15th May, our fantastic Year 6 children will be hosting their exciting Enterprise Event throughout the afternoon!

Classes across the school will have the opportunity to visit the amazing stalls and games that Year 6 have worked so hard to create. From fun challenges to creative activities, there will be something for everyone to enjoy!

Please send your child in with up to £3 in small change so they can take part and support our young entrepreneurs.
