Year 2- On Monday, we used our oracy skills to act out parts of the story of 'The Snail and the Whale.' We used our bodies to create actions for different parts of the story. We are excited to perform our sequences to the rest of the class later on this week.

We’re delighted to share that on Thursday 1st October, our school catering team will be hosting a Space Day themed lunch If your child doesn’t usually have a school meal, Space Day is the perfect opportunity to give one a try and enjoy one of our special themed events. Please order in the usual way via SchoolGrid. A reminder that all children in Reception, Year 1 and Year 2 are entitled to free school meals. Children in older year groups may also be eligible for free school meals, if you have not already done so please contact the school office to check eligibility. We discovered how to build a balanced plate using the main food groups—from vibrant fruits and vegetables that keep our hearts strong to proteins, carbohydrates, and healthy fats that give us long-lasting energy to keep us moving!
