The Learning Academy only employ qualified experienced classroom teachers who have an honours degree and a postgraduate teaching qualification as well as being enhanced DBS checked. Please make sure you check the qualifications of anyone you’re paying to educate your child. Our teachers understand and have studied how children learn for the last 30 years – they use their vast experience to create bespoke sessions for your child so that they can succeed. We believe that a qualified teacher will get the best out of your child as they have subject and curriculum knowledge as well as being able to adapt the tutoring to your child’s learning style. We are familiar with the noise of a large classroom environment so at the TLA we offer pupils a quiet classroom to get the best chance of academic success. We are approved by Ofsted which means that we comply with the relevant child welfare legislation, including Safeguarding and Health & Safety. As a parent you can be confident that your child is in safe hands with The Learning Academy as we are registered with Ofsted. It’s unbelievable that tutors and tutoring companies are not expected to be following procedures to keep your child safe. Since we are Ofsted registered we able to accept Childcare Vouchers. It also means that parents can take advantage of the government run Tax-Free Childcare scheme. Parents can receive up to £2,000 per child through this scheme and due to our Ofsted registration can use it to pay for lessons. We are trying our best to make tutoring more accessible to everyone. Parents are passionate about their child’s progress as are we at The Learning Academy. Come and join the TLA family and see how our award winning teachers can support your child’s educational journey.
