Please send your children into school with two carrier bags tomorrow. - one for their welly boots and waterproof coat, the other for their books.

If you wish to kindly donate any welly boots or waterproofs which are no longer needed or don't fit anymore, there will be tables on the school playground where these can be left. Please don't worry if they're dirty - we'll clean them! They could make a huge difference to a child in need in our community, so we welcome and appreciate all such donations.

Arbor have now resolved the issue with booking clubs on the Arbor app, so please feel free to resume doing this as normal.

07/07/2026

As you may know if you have tried this already, the breakfast and holiday clubs cannot currently be booked through the Arbor app. Arbor themselves have let us know that this is a problem on their end affecting a large number of different schools that use Arbor, and that they are working urgently to resolve it as a priority. In the meantime, please contact the school office by email or phone to book these clubs. We will let you know as soon as we hear that this functionality in the Arbor app is working again. All other parts of the app are unaffected to the best of our knowledge.

EYFS / Year R trip to Gulbenkian Theatre tomorrow
We wanted to reassure you that the trip is still going ahead. We have carefully reviewed the risks and have ensured that the following measures are in place to ensure the children remain safe and comfortable throughout the day:

We will be travelling on three coaches, all with air conditioning
The theatre is equipped with an air cooling system
The children will eat lunch indoors in a cinema space with an air cooling system
There will be water refill stations available at the Theatre, should the children need their bottles refilled.

To help keep everyone cool and prepared, please ensure your child:
Wears a yellow school t-shirt, cool clothing and suitable footwear
Brings two named water bottles in their bag
Brings their packed lunch unless they have ordered one from the school kitchen

Please also ensure your child arrives promptly at school, as the coach will be leaving straight after registration and we will not be able to delay departure.

Thank you for your support in helping us make this a safe and enjoyable experience for all the children. If you have any questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to get in touch.
