Nest Studio has nurtured lots of small businesses since we started in 2014, and we currently have two affordable, accessible spaces available at our Evegate studio! Spots like this are rare, so get in touch to book a viewing. ✨

Space 1: Studio desk space of your own, plus storage, with use of dedicated shop space for commission-free sales, and a fab communal workshop area for running your own courses and sessions. Free car parking and 24/7 access as a key holder. This would be ideal for anyone creative, looking for a combined outlet and workspace.

If you’ve been waiting for the right space to come up, hopefully this is what you’ve been looking for. We currently have four studio collaborators, all sharing this lovely creative workshop. From ceramics to sensory… it’s an inspiring place.

Do you offer mobile workshops of your own? If you are looking for a wonderful space to rent hourly, that isn’t a village hall or expensive boardroom, then get in touch. Our hourly rate is £15 which is a really good price. 🙌🏼

We have three new businesses joining us at Nest Studio from January 2026 (more about that soon), which includes ceramics, wellness, children’s arts and crafts, and adult painting classes. 🎨🖌️

There are more furniture pieces being created in the Nest workshop, now my 2024 injuries continue to be on the mend - I feel able to slowly restart doing what I love. These are the only pieces (pictured) I have done this year, and they took a while… but there’s continuous improvement (and stubbornness to fall back on!), so persistence beats resistance. 🪴

Plans are being made for more in-house and outsourced workshops from our fellow studio-sharers, plus the shop space reinstated and open to the public when we are there working away on our wonderful projects. Appointments can always be made by messaging us on FB and insta. ✨

✨ NOW JUST ONE SPACE LEFT✨

We are excited to announce that we have three studio spaces available.
⭐️💫✨

These come with a dedicated shop section to sell from, plus a workshop area to run sessions from, both with no extra costs.

The communal workshop space comfortably seats 8 people. We have previously hosted jewellery-making classes, children’s craft sessions, and furniture up-cycling courses. We have really great adjustable studio lighting installed, as well as an accessible, all-in-one-floor layout.

We are situated in Smeeth, about a 10 minute drive to Ashford and a 20 minute drive to Folkestone. Our cabin-style building is part of Evegate Artisan Village, and here you are surrounded by nature as well as many other independent businesses, including a lovely café and a micro pub. There are many features of Evegate that make it a lovely place to work from.

Each person at Nest will get their own private studio desk and generous storage, each with their own identity and charm. Studio A is the lovely country-style green one with lots of wall space. Studio B is the fun and vibrant orange one also, with plenty of wall space. Studio C is the vintage aesthetic teal one, with lots of natural light from being next to two large windows.

The studios also come with a kitchenette where you can prepare hot drinks, heat up meals, and wash any painty brushes you might have. We even have a cute sewing corner next to the communal workshop area!

Our shop space is located at the front of the building, and you can sell your creations here with no commission charges. Currently here we have some older stock, to showcase how items can be presented.

This offer is for 6 months, at £175 per month/ approx £40 per week, all-inclusive, with the potential for studio holders to stay on past this point.

We ask for a small initial refundable deposit of £100 to ensure our space stays looked after, as it has just been freshly refurbished.
