Welcome Reception 2022!
It was lovely to see so many parents at our Welcome Evening last Thursday!

The Kittens are coming!
Many of you have signed up for our Kittens sessions, which start next week! (Week beginning 16th May). Staff will be looking forward to greeting you and showing you where to go on Tuesday and Friday at 9am and 1pm, depending on the sessions you have booked., in the middle area of the school site, just outside the junior school. Our lovely PTA (parent helpers) and FLO team, are offering tea, coffee and cake after you have dropped your child off. at Kittens, they'd love to see you too.
The Tuesday and Friday Kitten sessions are for those parents who have already signed their children up to come and sadly there are no spaces left on these days. However, we have now opened up a Monday morning session. This starts on the 23rd May. You will need to call us if you would like a space.

Guys R Us!
We regularly open the school up on Saturday mornings for 'Guys R Us. Our next Guys R Us is on Saturday 21st May, 10 - 11.30 on the Junior School site. All dads, grandads, uncles, significant men are welcome to come along with their children. There are arts, crafts, games, sports and all sorts of things to do. No need to book, just come along.

Dear Parents/Carers of our EYFS (Reception) children.

Due to unforeseen circumstances, we will not be able to have our animal workshop today. We will endeavour to re-book this as soon as possible.

Term 2 - Monday 2nd November the catering staff will be serving the following rolling menu

Please see the flyer below for WASPS holiday club for the upcoming October half term. The club is for all children from Year R to Year 6. Please contact the Junior School Reception on 01233 620405 for more information or to book your child’s place.

Our catering team have introduced an additional cooked meal to their offering. This will start from tomorrow (Wednesday 7th September). The updated menu is attached.

Menu change reminder - Friday 2nd October

Our kitchen will be serving either a Beef Burger in a Bun or Quorn Burger in a Bun with Baked Wedges, Vegetable Sticks and an Iced Sponge for lunch tomorrow.

School Dinner Menu:
This week, there is a change to the lunchtime menu.
On Thursday the school cooks are serving Fish and Chips and on Friday is Burger day.

Dear Reception parents/carers, please can you ensure your child has their wellies in school on Monday as they will be 'going on a bear hunt!'

Unfortunately, due to these exceptional times, we are still not able to provide cooked meals at midday. This is because of the logistics of social distancing at lunchtime. We are not able to use our halls in the usual way and we are not able to mix our class bubbles. We have worked with our catering company and asked them to devise an interesting packed lunch (or takeaway) menu for the children. This menu will be available from Monday 21st September.

EYFS (Reception) parents your child's teacher will be making phone calls this week to catch up and talk about how your child has settled into school.

If we miss you, we will leave a message. You will have a chance to chat about your child's first days at Willesborough.

We are really looking forward to welcoming our Reception children full time on Monday 14th September.

Their school day will begin at 8:45am and will end at 3:00pm.

Drop off times are 8:35am - 8:45am and collection will be 3:00pm - 3:10pm.

Please do not arrive before your dedicated time slot.
