The School Immunisation Team would like to invite parents to book an appointment at one of their Community Clinics if your child recently missed their Childhood Flu Immunisation on their visit to school.

We have had no luck with Ashford Borough Council they are unable to collect from us - can anyone take 2 medium fridge/freezer's to the local tip for us. Please contact the school office if you are able to help us. Thank you.

Reminder Christmas DT Workshops today. Entrance will be via the classroom doors. For Safeguarding reasons the gates will only be open from 1:25pm - 1:40pm. You will not be permitted entrance after this time as all activities will have started. Thank you.

School Office hours

Reminder the school office is closed from 4pm. This means that Miss Betts and Mrs Page will not be available to answer the telephone or be available in the office. If you have any urgent enquiries after this time please send us a message via the new Weduc app and this will be triaged for the correct support.

Due to the hall being used most of this week, PE lessons will take place outside. Please send your child/ren in with tracksuits.

Next week the school nurses are in school to admininster the nasal flu sprays - if you haven't already please complete the consent form below.

We are now using a new school app, you should have received an email with details of how to sign up.

“REMINDER: The Kent and Medway School Aged Immunisation Service is coming to school soon to carry out Flu Immunisation Programme for pupils in Years R - 6 – don’t forget to consent or decline before the cut-off date via their website Immunisation Team | Kent Community Health NHS Foundation Trust (kentcht.nhs.uk) .

Beaver Green will be supporting the Children in Need SPOTacular Appeal on Friday 18th November - Children can wear spotty clothing to school for the day for a £1 donation.

The Halloween Disco is on Thursday 20th. If you have paid for your child to attend the disco, please see below.
Nursery and Year R children will be dismissed from their classroom door at 3:15pm as usual.
Year 1 - 3 will be dismissed from their classroom door at 4:15pm
Year 4 - 6 children will arrive at the disco via their classroom door at 4:30pm and collected from there at 5:30pm.
If your child would like to dress up for the disco and are in years N-3 please remember to send their costumes in with them in the morning.
If they are in yrs 4-6 please remember no scary masks are permitted for the disco.

Campsite | Ferny Crofts Scout Activity Centre | Lyndhurst Ferny Crofts is a 31 Acre Outdoor Activty Centre and Campsite located in the heart of the New Forest, open to Scouts, Guides, Schools and Youth Groups

Coffee Morning - Monday 17th October, 9 - 10am.

Come and join us for a coffee and a chat while the younger ones have a chance to play and socialise.

The uniform shop will be open, so if you need a spare pair of trousers, a jumper or some t-shirts, pop along and have a look through what we have. All we ask is a donation of 50p per item and any monies raised will go towards some extra toys to keep the younger ones entertained while you have a coffee. If your child/children is/are in need of school uniform and you are facing financial difficulty and struggling to provide it please speak to a member of staff in the hall.

We have put together a few ideas for you to try at home with your children over Halloween, ranging from arts and crafts, baking and also some ‘days out’ information. So if there is anything you do at home to celebrate this spooky time of year, please come along and share your fantastic ideas with other parents and staff.

Mrs Fisher (SENCO) and Mrs Hollingsbee (FLO) will be available during this time to answer any questions you may have.
