Dear Parents and Carers,

Please see the attached letter from the UKHSA regarding Meningococcal Disease Information.

The letter provides important public health information following a confirmed case of suspected meningococcal disease and includes reassurance, guidance on symptoms to be aware of, and advice on when to seek medical support.

There is no requirement for schools to change normal routines or take additional action beyond sharing the information provided.

Cost: £1 per strip
We have fabulous prizes for the winners
All proceeds from this event will go directly to PTA to help purchase a new school minibus.

Subject: Reminder: Year 4 Trip to Victoria Park tomorrow
Dear Parents and Carers,
This is a quick reminder that Year 4 will be visiting Victoria Park tomorrow afternoon.
We will be leaving shortly after lunch, so all children will eat in the hall at the usual time. Please see below for a few important details:-

Clothing: Please ensure your child wears School uniform, comfortable walking shoes and a waterproof coat.

Essentials: Every child will need a bag and a named water bottle.

Weather: The forecast currently looks fine, so we plan to go ahead. However, if heavy rain is forecast, we will postpone the trip. We will notify you of any changes by 9AM tomorrow (or as soon as possible).

Wow - What a week of sporting activities - Beaver Green you are amazing

Year 1&2 Sportshall Athletics
We took a team of 10 Year 2 pupils to represent Beaver Green at the Ashford Schools Sportshall Athletics competition on Tuesday morning, with each child particpating in 6 events, including running, jumping and throwing. Out of the 16 schools competing, we managed an incredible 3rd placed finish.


Year 5&6 Sportshall Athletics
We took a team of 18 Year 5&6 pupils to represent Beaver Green at the Ashford Schools Sportshall Athletics competition on Tuesday afternoon, with each child particpating in 2 field and 2 track events each. Both our Boys and Girls 4x1 Relay teams recorded the quickest time across the district, as well as the Boys and Girls 2 Lap Relay and the Boys Obstacle Relay. whisly we also claimed 2nd place in the Boys Javelin and Long Jump. Thanks to a tremendous team efort, we once again managed a 3rd place finish in the final standings.

Year 3&4 Sportshall Athletics
We took a team of 18 Year 3&4 pupils to represent Beaver Green at the Ashford Schools Sportshall Athletics competition on Wednesday morning, with each child particpating in 2 field and 2 track events each. We are awaiting the final results of this event, and will be hoping to celebrate a top 10 finish.


Year 5&6 Girls Football Festival
On Friday afternoon our Year 5&6 Girls Football team participated in the Football Festival at Ashford Hockey Club. We topped the group stage, beating Ashford Oaks and Lady Joanna, whilst drawing with Phoenix. We then faced off against winners of the other group, Rolvenden in the final, narrowly losing 1-0 with last minute goal. Another massive achivement, finishing runners-up. A speical mention to Amelai who was voted as Player of the Tournament, for her goalkeepeing heroics all afternoon, conceding just once!

TSC Rugby Academy and Ashford Rugby Club are delighted to invite pupils to attend a FREE Girls’ Rugby Festival designed to inspire more girls to get involved in rugby in a fun, supportive and inclusive environment.

Special Feature: The Women’s Rugby World Cup Trophy will be in attendance, giving players a fantastic opportunity to have their photo taken with the trophy!

This event is proudly funded by England Rugby and delivered in partnership with TSC Rugby Academy and Ashford Rugby Club.
