I charge £11.50 per hour before midnight and £15 per hour after midnight.

(Christmas Eve and New Year’s Eve £15 per hour before midnight and £20 per hour after)

Well done parents, you’ve have almost made it to the end of the summer holidays! I have availability this weekend for babysitting on Friday, Saturday and Sunday evening for parents who would like to take a well earned break.

If they're in a phase of needing you more and wanting to be on you or with you, and their sleep is more disturbed than normal, don't automatically assume it must be teeth. 🙂

Their world expanding might look like:-

🛑Cognitive developmental leaps (think progressions in their understanding and awareness, language development etc)
🛑Physical developmental leaps (clapping, pointing, rolling, crawling, cruising, climbing, walking etc)
🛑Seeing more of the world and an ever increasing awareness that it's big & that you aren't actually one person, you're separate individuals who can be apart
🛑Starting in a childcare setting or being cared for by someone that isn't you and the process of learning to adjust to that
🛑Some other significant life change, maybe moving house, having a new sibling arrive
🛑Experiencing big feelings that they are not able to manage (unable to emotionally regulate themselves) - that can feel scary and overwhelming - it's not fun feeling out of control.

The brain is in a season of major ongoing change in the first three years of life. More than a million neural connections are made every second. That's *a lot*. When things are expanding in their world, the truth of it is that YOU'RE the one who picks up the tab.

Welcome to my Childcare Services Business Page. For this of you who don’t know me I thought I would introduce myself and give you a little insight into my experience within the Childcare sector.

I qualified as a Nursery Nurse back in 1996. Since then I have worked in a nursery, as a nanny, a respite carer for families with children who have SEN needs and then as a Perinatal Nursery Nurse for the NHS within the Perinatal Mental Health Community Service. Last year I took a change of direction in my career and became a Social work assistant for the disabled children’s team and am now working as a Senior social work assistant.

I currently work Monday to Friday 9-5 but am available for your childcare needs during the evenings and weekends.

I am able to supply you with excellent references and my latest DBS check from when I joined KCC in October 2023.

My charges are weekend daytime £15ph
Evening babysitting is £12.25ph (before midnight) - £15ph (after midnight)
