This afternoon the children had great fun creating thier own lemon and orange lemonade! πππ«
This activity was a massive hit with the children and supported various areas of development such as
Fine motor skills: pouring, mixing, squeezing, using tongs and turning the taps on.
PSED skills: sharing, turn taking and working together to fill the despensers back up when empty.
Following a list of ingredients to make the drinks which covers listening, attention and understanding as well as communicating with each other about the activity.
Maths: counting how many of each of the ingredients needed.
And many more. All in all a successful activity and we are happy with the outcome. The only thing we would change was to add some lemon squeezers rather than using just hands βοΈ.
