I had a moment on Saturday that I'm still thinking about.

Blue-green algae is one of those things that can look totally harmless (sometimes you can barely even see it) but it can kill a dog within hours of exposure.

That's terrifying when you think about how many of us just let our dogs splash into any pond or lake without a second thought.
