We love ending the school year with ‘Goatfest’ and we hope your children have too! Goodbye to Year 6 - remember all of the things we’ve taught you and you’ll smash secondary school. We hope you all have a lovely summer and we’ll see most of you in September!

Pygmy class have had a packed but great week. They pulled off some fantastic performances of I’m an 11 year old get me out of here, then had a surprise day with lots of challenges to crown our very own queen of the jungle! They had great fun at their leaver’s party: racing each other on the obstacle course, taking photos, having a BBQ and playing hide and seek in school. This morning was then spent preparing for our picnic with Billy class followed by their treat afternoon using the profits they made from the tenner challenge.

Billy Class had a picnic with their Year 6 buddies this afternoon to celebrate coming to the end of the school year. Year 6 had made some delicious treats including pinwheels, biscoff cheesecake, cookies & some delicious borscht! They exchanged handmade cards and some little gifts too. Thank you so much to Miss Chapman and Year 6! The Year 6 children have been fabulous buddies to our lovely little Billy Class children and we wish them all the best as they move onto their new schools! 💜💚

Year 3 went out of school again today for their learning. We went to Godinton House to continue our project on growing vegetables so we can make our own soup when we visit in September or October. The first few photos are when we first planted our veg and just look at them now! We came back to school with some whopping courgettes! We also got to make, and sample, some muffins made with veg. We hope you liked them as much as us! We’d like to say such a MASSIVE thank you to Godinton House And Gardens for this incredible experience to learn all about growing our own food.

Something positive to show you from yesterday- especially if you’re feeling a bit sad about the football… year 3 had a fabulous day on the Hyth/Dymchurch railway. We travelled to Dungeness on a diesel train and came back on a steam train. We spotted so much on our journey, waved to lots of people and got to have lunch on the beach! We were full of chatter!

Angora's mystery reader today was Isabelle's dad. He read the introduction to The BFG- we were captivated!
