The CAA are transitioning to a new medical records system named Cellma as of the 29th March 2021.

Anyone holding a medical certificate will need an online CAA Customer Portal Account to access the new medical service.

The CAA will send out individual emails and SMS reminder messages two to three months before the medical certificate expiry date if this falls after the 28th March 2021. The email will include instructions on how to create a CAA portal account (if you do not already have one) and apply for the medical service. Portal registration will take a minimum of 10 days to progress so please ensure you allow sufficient time prior to your medical expiring. Without a valid portal account, you will not be able to progress your medical renewal.

Please ensure you have your latest contact details registered with the CAA.

The transition to Cellma will require pilots to pay the fee of £14 (Class1)to the CAA directly via the portal in advance of their medical
