🌟Exciting News! Today marks the relaunch of the Empowered Change website! 🌟

For those who know me, technology hasn’t always been my strong suit.

Just a year ago, I would have been puzzled if you mentioned SEO.

Yet, when I founded Empowered Change, I realised I needed a digital “shop window” to showcase how I can help individuals and organisations enhance their skills and competencies.

With a limited budget, I jumped into learning how to build my own website. It was a journey of countless hours spent on content, layout, and branding.

The result? Over 1,000 views in my first year—an encouraging sign for a new entrepreneur!

But I knew I wanted to elevate my online presence. So, as a special anniversary gift to Empowered Change, I partnered with the talented Olivia McLeod from . In just four weeks, she transformed my vision into a beautiful new site.

I’m excited about the potential this website holds to reach and support more people using my 30 years of experience and proven techniques.

Today marks a pivotal moment—one year since I registered Empowered Change.

Transitioning from a 15-year career with a globally recognised bank, who were a “Top Employer,” was no small feat.

As a senior HR leader, I had a fulfilling role and made a meaningful difference in developing talent.

However, after years of navigating personal challenges and the relentless demands of a fast-paced environment, I found myself facing burnout.

It was time to pause, reflect, and redefine my path. I realised my true calling: to inspire, support, and empower others. I wanted to leverage my strengths to create a positive impact.

This past year has been an incredible journey of growth as an entrepreneur. I’ve embraced the highs and lows, faced doubts, and celebrated moments of clarity and determination. I’m grateful for my supportive husband and the positive network around me that fuels my passion.

💡I discovered what lights me up.

If you’ve read chapter three about my story already in the Be in Demand 2024 edition book, which launched on Wednesday, you will have heard me talk about The GC Index assessment.

I’ve used many assessment tools in my 30 years working in development and HR which are all great and serve different purposes.
