Would your child like to sing or play in a band?
At the Academy of Rock in Ashby, a tutor (Danny English) will be putting together bands of children between the ages of 7 and 14. They will be placed in a group of similar age and will learn pop and rock songs.
If your child would like to sing, then theres no experience needed! Also if they would like to sing in a group with their friends, please just let us know.
If your child plays an instrument they will need to be of a reasonable ability - however the tutor can check to see if they are ready yet. The songs will be pretty easy.
Each band will have a chance to perform a few songs in an evening concert once per term.
Rehearsals will be held on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 4.30 onwards.
