So many of his songs were radical & made social statements. Clearly he was concerned about the mess the most powerful & wealthy were creating & the profit they were deriving from human misery. Often these artists become targets. As they are loved by many the way to target them is to destroy their reputation & integrity, often when they are not around to defend themselves.
