For the last week of term our preschool children planned their week, we had a fun packed time having a k pop party, creative day, superhero day, all things water play including a big water fight and we made gingerbread men after reading the colour monster goes to school and decorated them to discuss our feelings for our next step

It’s the last week of term so preschool get to choose everything they want to do this week, at the start of the week we had a K-pop demon hunter day! They wanted a K-pop party, K-pop colouring pictures and they practiced identifying and matching numbers to the pictures and writing their favourite characters name! More fun to be posted next week

National Baby-Led Weaning Day 💛

Baby-led weaning gives children the opportunity to explore food independently, helping to build confidence, support fine motor development and encourage a positive relationship with food from the very start.

We know that every family's weaning journey is different. That's why we take time during the settling-in process to understand each family's preferences and chosen approach. Whether parents opt for baby-led weaning, purées or a combination of both, it's always led by parental choice, with our nursery teams there to provide support every step of the way.

Through close partnerships with families, we create positive mealtime experiences where children can safely explore a variety of tastes and textures at their own pace. As they do, they're developing independence, self-confidence and important skills that support their wider learning and development.
