Goodbye and good luck to our amazing Year 6s as they leave to begin their next adventures. What a wonderful send off they had at home time! Today, the children in Class 1, celebrated 100 years of Digby Tedder Primary School and dressed up as different decades from the last century. To begin the children played with traditional toys made from wood, metal and material just as they did in the 1920’s. They then wrote their name and the alphabet using chalk and then jumped forward in time to the present day where they wrote about themselves and what they liked to be placed in our time capsule.

Today we have celebrated 100 years of Tedder School. We wrote letters to future pupils about what life is like in 2026 and made predictions about what the world will be like in another 100 years, enjoyed a picnic lunch together and played some playground games from the last 100 years. Our letters will be placed into the whole school time capsule alongside other items to be discovered by future generations. 🎉

Thank you to everyone who was able to attend the Class Assemblies this week. They were a real celebration of the children’s learning this year and they did a fantastic job! We hope you enjoyed them. ⭐️
