I've been working in Catterick this summer delivering fun outside summer schools for young kids and we have had so much fun! Forest school, messy play and general enjoyment of being outside is great for kids and these pictures just show a snapshot of their imagination and joy.

What makes a great story? Is it the characters, the setting, the plot? What's your favorite type of story and why? I am strongly against "death by PowerPoint" lessons and used to train all Newly Qualified Teachers to have a catalogue of lessons up their sleeve (or in the filing cabinet) for when their beloved computers didn't work. They seemed shocked that all you need to teach is good subject knowledge and a board pen!
That aside, it's worth noting that when we do need ppt, it's best to select a dark background with a light coloured font. Much easier to read and helps those with dyslexia and other specific needs.
Why not try it out for your next meeting? People will feel more engaged and struggle less to read your points.

About to jump online with one of my amazing adult learners, a wonderful woman I met in Europe who is learning English as a second language (well third actually!) She has just successfully achieved Level 3's across the board for her Stanag assessments and I couldn't be happier! Now on to Level 4 which is essentially fluent in business language and native conversational level! Amazing!
