🌿🌳 Forest School Adventures! 🌳🌿

What a fantastic day we’ve had visiting our RAFAKidz Cranwell setting and spending the day at their wonderful Forest School! 🥰

The children embraced the great outdoors and got stuck into lots of exciting activities. 🎨🌲

🪞 We painted on mirrors, creating beautiful pictures of the trees and exploring their reflections.

🧪 We mixed up our very own magical potions using natural resources around us.

🖼️ We collected twigs and made our own unique picture frames, getting creative with the materials nature provided.

🔨 We also had the opportunity to practise our hammering skills, developing hand-eye coordination, control and confidence.

What a brilliant adventure we had! 🌳✨

🌳🎬 School holidays! 🎬🌳

We've been making the most of the summer with some amazing adventures! Our holiday club children enjoyed a trip to the Station Cinema to watch Toy Story 5, sharing lots of excitement together. 🍿✨

We also had a wonderful visit to RAFAKidz Cranwell Forest School, where the children explored nature through transient art using natural treasures they found and got creative with some magical potion making. 🍃🪄

💚 We love creating exciting experiences, encouraging friendships, and making memories. Here's to many more adventures together this summer! ☀️🌳✨

🎓✨ This week we celebrated our preschool leavers✨🎓

What an incredible year it has been, filled with laughter, learning, new friendships, and unforgettable memories. We are so proud of each and every one of our amazing children and all they have accomplished.

From garden to plate! 🥔🌱

Our toddlers have been on an exciting journey, growing their very own potatoes. After patiently caring for them and watching them grow, it was finally time to turn them into a delicious homemade potato salad!

We learnt:
🌱 Where food comes from and how it grows.
🥔 Understanding the life cycle of plants and what they need to grow.
🥗 Exploring healthy eating and trying fresh foods they had grown themselves.
🤝 Strengthening communication, teamwork, and turn-taking skills while working together.
💬 Expanding language and vocabulary through conversations about planting, harvesting, and cooking.
✨ Boosting self-esteem and a sense of achievement by enjoying something they had grown from seed to plate.

Experiences like these help the children make meaningful connections between nature, food, and healthy lifestyles, while having fun. 💚🌿🥔
