The activities we offer are perfect for individuals and families, with classes suitable for parents and children to

train alongside each other. This is how we began - Gill & Peter O'Neill first attended TAGB Tae Kwon Do lessons as a way of getting fit and learning new skills together, from an early age, their two sons were introduced to the art. The family continue to work together as the driving force behind MartialArts4Fun. Our activities provide so much - from teaching basic life skills to our younger members, to improving fitness and positive mental health in our adult members - there really is something for everyone. Ever had that moment where you thought, "What would I actually do if I felt unsafe?" 🤔
Tonight, 6-8pm, we're running a Basic Self Defence session — open to all ages, no experience needed

It's simple, practical, real-world stuff: the kind of awareness and confidence that sticks with you long after you leave the Dojang.

It's part of our Bring a Friend Week (27th July - 1st August) — so grab a mate, a partner, a parent, anyone — and come try it together.

Just ask the families who've walked in nervous and walked out standing taller — that's the whole point.

Tomorrow's the day. 🥋

Across every MartialArts4Fun & Tae Kwon-Do Torbay schools in Devon, our coloured belt candidates step up to show what months of hard work and quiet determination have built.

Whatever belt they're aiming for, this isn't just about a new colour around the waist — it's about proving to themselves they can rise to a challenge.

To every student grading tomorrow: we've watched you grow all year, and we cannot wait to see you shine in the Dojang.

Six weeks of summer, one week that could change how your child spends it. ☀️

Our Summer School is landing at Newton Abbot Rugby Club, 10th–14th August, open to all kids aged 7+.

Five days of movement, focus, and real friendships — the kind that doesn't come from a screen. Whether they're brand new to martial arts or already training with us, this week is built to challenge them, build their confidence, and have them buzzing to tell you about it at pick-up.

Spaces are always snapped up quickly, so register your interest now and we'll be in touch with all the details.

New week, new chance to put the phone down and step into the Dojang. We see it every single week — kids (and adults!) walk in a bit distracted, and walk out standing taller, focused, and genuinely proud of themselves. That's not magic. That's consistency.

If you've been thinking about trying martial arts, this is your sign. No uniform needed, no experience required — just turn up and give it a go. We'll take care of the rest.

As the coloured belt grading on the 25th gets closer, this weekend's about the quiet work — the extra pattern run-throughs, the pad rounds that don't make it onto anyone's camera roll. That's where belts are really earned.

To every student putting in the extra reps this week: it shows, and it counts, whether anyone's watching or not.

Rest well tonight. Next week, we tighten it all up.
