Landscove After-School French Club (Class 3 and 4)🇫🇷🙂
When?
Tuesdays starting 21 September from 3:30 to 4:30pm
Who for?
Any children in class 3 and 4 who would like to learn another language through lots of games, songs, mini-plays and word puzzles. We will play games like picture bingo and the secret signaller (murder by winking without any murders🙂 ), où est Claude? (always a favourite) and French playground games. We will do different topics each term, including learning about French culture and traditional stories. The children don't need to know any French to join and it will be a small group of maximum 12 so I can make sure that they all make progress.
Cost?
£30 for five one hour lessons up to half-term.

FREE first session if you would like to try out Fidgety French on Wednesdays 1:15 to 2pm🇫🇷🙂

Today we learnt an autumn song and dressed "un arbre" 🌳(a tree) with "des feuilles"🍃 so that we could sing about them turning orange🍊, jaune 💛 and rouge 🍎.

🇫🇷3 places left in the new Fidgety French session for babies, toddlers and pre-schoolers (0-4) starting this Wednesday at 1:15pm at The Mothership Baby Hub!🇫🇷

We will be in the lovely Mothership at Hydro-hub with puppets, five little ducklings, instruments, bubbles and the most lovely French lullaby for little ones (and tired parents) to relax to.😊

FREE Fidgety French taster sessions at The Mothership Baby Hub, Seale-Hayne, Newton Abbot this afternoon!🇫🇷🙂

🎵It will be lots of fun for your little one and a chance for you to learn some French or brush up on your school French with songs and action rhymes, puppets and instruments!🎵

A few last minute cancellations mean there is space at 2:15pm (18 months to 4 years) and 3:15pm (0-4years).

Recently visiting Arromanches 360, a memorial to the d-day landings, while I was in France meeting up with family, was a stark reminder of why we need to all work hard to understand each other, wherever we are from and whatever our backgrounds. It reminded me why I had become a teacher in the first place, but also how much I need to keep learning.
