We are really excited to welcome all of our pupils back to school tomorrow and hear all about their news and adventures from the summer break. We are also looking forward to welcoming our new pupils into Reception here at Kniveton as they start their educational journey with us. We hope that everybody has had a wonderful break and can’t wait to see you all tomorrow morning!

We would like to wish all of our families and school community, a wonderful summer break. Thank you so much for all of the support you have given us throughout this year~ it means a lot! We cannot wait for the new term (but first a small break is needed to recharge our batteries!) and look forward to seeing you all in September. Happy holidays everyone! 😎☀️

Well what an emotional end to the year, cheering and clapping out our fabulous Year 6 pupils as they move onto their next chapter at secondary school. It has been an absolute privilege seeing them develop throughout the years and we are incredibly proud of each and every one of them! From our leavers’ service in church, through to the photo corridor, planting a tree in forest school to remember them by and the red carpet exit, along with so many memories… oh and not to mention a party bus! We wish them all every success as they leave us here at Kniveton and can’t wait to hear all about it as soon as we can! Good luck class of 2026! 🍀⭐️🎉🥳👏

Another Friday, another celebration worship and once again we are incredibly proud of our pupils. Consistently displaying our school values throughout the week, working hard in all of their sessions and looking out for each other, it has been wonderful to see. We have also celebrated some of our pupils achieving their level 1 and level 2 Bikeability award, learning the safety elements of riding a bike and also how to safely and accurately ride a bike on the road. This is particularly important due to our school location and where many of our pupils live. We also celebrated one of our younger pupils achievements in swimming- another incredibly important life skill that we encourage from a young age. We definitely have talented pupils here at Kniveton and are incredibly proud of each and every one of them. ⭐️❤️

Class 2 have had a very active afternoon. In Science, we have been exploring the importance of exercise on our bodies. We did an investigation to test which exercises make our bodies work the hardest by measuring our heartbeats before and after. We had some much fun! ☺️
