Today we celebrated harvest with our service in the church . All the children took part and spoke and sung beautifully about the meaning of Harvest. Our fabulous donations were then loaded up by some of our Key Stage 2 children enroute to the Padley centre.

What a fantastic first week. Our new reception children have settled brilliantly, and we've had some fantastic feedback from our parents .

"Thank you for making my daughters first week of school a lovely experience she has settled in better than I thought she would. Her quotes after her first day “it has been the best day of school ever” “can I go tomorrow?” and after her first after school session “I loved after school club, can I go again?”

"My daughter has absolutely loved her first week at school! She’s settled in so well and has been so excited to go each day. Having children of all
ages playing with her and helping her has really made her feel welcome! Attending the Little Monkeys sessions really helped prepare her for school and made the transition so much easier. Thank you!

"My daughter has a request - could you please come to school tomorrow (Saturday) as she wants school to be 6 days a week!)"

" both my children have commented that year 2 hasn't been daunting in the first week and I think they've appreciated the consistency from last year and feeling like they're just picking up from where they were. I think that's a definite benefit of being in the same classroom/having the same teacher."
