At Salem Activity Breaks, we are passionate about changing the way young people are supported through access to the outdoors, therapeutic relationships, and meaningful experiences.

We provide high-quality activity breaks and therapeutic support placements for young people with complex needs, helping them build confidence, develop independence, and achieve positive outcomes. Using therapeutic approaches including PACE, low arousal techniques, and least restrictive practice, we create safe, nurturing environments where young people can reset, grow, and thrive.

We're currently recruiting Children's Support Workers to join our team. If you're caring, resilient, passionate about supporting young people, and enjoy making a real difference, we'd love to hear from you.

At SALEM, we provide activity breaks and therapeutic support placements for young people in care.

Our company was founded in 2023, and consists of a widely experienced team of individuals from both an adventure and childcare background.

We offer high quality support and mentorship, respite support, crisis intervention and alternative education. Based in Derbyshire in the heart of the Peak District, we use outdoor adventure sports as a therapeutic tool to support our clients.

We thrive to aid young people from varying backgrounds, to engage in outdoor experiences, expand their life choices and help them to develop emotionally, physically and professionally in order to integrate them back into society.
