This morning the Babies have been developing our hand and eye co ordination, we have loved playing with the water outside in the Mud kitchen and tuff tray. We have been using different utensils to help us scoop up and pour the water from one container to another. We are really glad that we wore our puddle suits!!

This month in the preschool we are supporting our personal social and emtional development. Our preschoolers have done an activity ' All About Me' the children have been using the mirror and the paint to create there own self portraits. The children used some mathematical language talking about size of their eyes big or small, what colour their eyes are and how many they have. 🎨🤳🧐

This morning in Baby Room we have had lots of budding artists, we have been using our fine motor skills to make lots of different marks on the large paper on the floor. We have enjoyed using both chunky crayons and pencils to draw with, whilst improving our hand and eye co ordination. We had great fun watching Emma draw with us.

This morning in Baby Room we have had great fun exploring different texture sensory bags. We enjoyed moving the different contents around using our fingers, and feeling what was inside. We used different coloured paint and introduced the Babies to different colour names, we also enjoyed using shaving foam and coloured glitter in water.

Congratulations to Mazie who has received the Employee of the month for August.

This month the children got to choose who they think deserves this award. We wanted to ask the children as their opinion matters the most and is the reason why we do this job🩷🩷

Mazie was chosen because she does fun activities with the children, makes them laugh and plays with them. One child did pick Mazie because she goes on her lunch😂

This morning in Preschool we explored different measurements using rice. For this activity the children had to count how many spoon fulls it took to fill up their bowls. We used our fine motor skills to pick up the grains of rive and spoke about the texture of the rice. The children could feel the difference between the rice that was painted red and the rice that was plain.
This has been such a fun morning in Preschool.

This morning the babies explored in a farm themed tuff tray, the babies helped break up some weetabix we used our fine motor skills to squeeze and smash into a crumbly mud. This taste safe activity allowed the babies to practice naming different farm animals 🐮🩷
