A productive weekend for one solo competitor for the GTI Championships in Cheltenham on 30th November. Gold in Patterns and Gold in Sparring. Well done! 👏👏👏

After our success in Derby the previous weekend, we sent another small squad of 11 students to the ITF British Open (24/25 Nov) and had another highly successful weekend. After some really tough competition they finished the weekend with 8 x gold medal British Champions, 4 x silver and 1 x bronze.

The 2025 World Championships. It's big and its about to kick off. Good luck to our assistant instructors who are part of the England squad.

This weekend, seven of our students will travel to Croatia with the England National Team for the ITF World Championships 2025.
I am already so very proud of each and everyone of them and I wish the team the very best of luck.
It will be the biggest and toughest competition they have ever been involved in. Whatever happens, they will have an amazing time, make memories that will last a lifetime and continue to inspire the people that they train with and the youngsters they help teach.
Having spent four years with the squad myself I know what a gruelling week both the competitors and coaches will have and I wish them all the very best.

We are very pleased to announce a selection result.
Whilst travelling to Manchester to start university, Cerys Janway took a rather long winded detour and attended the British University team selections in Loughborough. Whilst they don't normally make on the spot decisions, she was offered and accepted, a place in the squad with immediate effect. Well done, Cerys. 👏👏👏

On Saturday, 28th June, members of Aldershot Taekwon-Do performed a demonstration for Ash Parish Council at their annual village fete.
Original concerns about wet weather and damp grass proved to be unfounded. It was 80⁰F, and the grass had literally turned to dust!
Members of the junior and senior classes impressed the crowd with patterns, drills, sparring, self-defence, and board breaking.

Our association just won the Open Welsh Championship!! 👊

Whilst the European Championships were reaching their climax in Bosnia last weekend, Mr Adams and a group of 21 Aldershot students accepted an invitation to attend a competition hosted by Bytomic Taekwon-Do.
It was a very friendly day out, and the juniors love it because they get to do team sparring and power test, as well as regular sparring and patterns. They finished the day with 22 Gold, 9 Silver and 9 Bronze.
