Creativity, curiosity and technical skill are on full display here in our A Level Art highlights.

From bold experimentation to beautifully refined final pieces, our pupils have explored a wide range of themes and mediums, producing work that reflects their individuality, imagination and dedication throughout the course.

Congratulations to our Year 11 pupils celebrating their GCSE results today!

⭐38% of all grades were awarded at 9–8 and 55% at 9–7
⭐89% of pupils outperformed their baseline predictions

This reflects their hard work and the impact of St George's tailored learning, small classes and teachers who know just when to support, stretch and challenge each individual.

A huge thank you to our wonderful Parent Association!

The support, generosity and enthusiasm of our PA this year has been truly outstanding.

Thanks to their incredible efforts, we have welcomed a brand-new pottery wheel, enjoyed an ice cream van during the end of term heatwave, added new benches, water polo goals and a table tennis table; all of which have been enjoyed by pupils and staff alike.

We are incredibly grateful for everything our PA does to support our school community. Thank you for helping to make our school an even better place!

A special evening of friendship and celebration for our Markham boarders as they gathered at the Head’s House to mark the end of the school year.

Hosted by Miss Fox, the relaxed garden gathering brought everyone together for an evening of croquet, pizza, music and plenty of conversation. Mrs Speller, Housemistress, shared her croquet expertise, with pupils showcasing their skills and enjoying some friendly competition.

From garden games to an impromptu piano recital, the evening was filled with laughter and memorable moments. It was a wonderful reminder of the strong sense of community, connection and friendship that makes boarding at St George’s so special.

Results are in ... and the Class of 2026 are off to some amazing places!

Today we are incredibly proud to celebrate our Upper Sixth pupils as they receive their A Level results and prepare for exciting next chapters.

Hannah Fox, Head says: “These strong grades are the product of a great deal of hard work from our pupils, and from the teachers who have challenged and supported them. Most importantly, they have opened the door to a range of ambitious next steps and I cannot wait to see and hear where these paths take them.”

From Medicine at Oxford, Buckingham and Nottingham to Law and Modern Languages at Bristol, Physics at York, Biomedical Engineering at King’s College London, Economics at Edinburgh and Psychology at the University of Rochester in New York, their choices reflect the extraordinary breadth of interests and ambition within this year group.

⭐ 30% of A Level grades at A*–A
⭐ 57% heading to Russell Group universities
⭐ Over a third taking up places at QS Global Top 100 institutions
⭐86% of Extended Project Qualification grades at A*–A

🌍 Inspiring global change through advocacy and leadership.

Lower Sixth pupil Yavi independently secured a Political Affairs Internship with The Borgen Project, an international non-profit organisation working to tackle extreme poverty through advocacy and political engagement.

As part of her internship, Yavi recently organised an information event at St George’s, encouraging pupils to explore global issues including girls’ education, international development and the conflict in Sudan. She has also met with local councillors, presented to Surrey Youth Council and connected with professionals across the political and non-profit sectors, gaining valuable insight into how young people can help create meaningful change.

Through this experience, Yavi has developed her leadership, communication and public speaking skills, while using her voice to raise awareness and inspire others to engage with global challenges.

We are incredibly proud of Yavi’s commitment, curiosity and determination to make a difference, and her work is a wonderful example of the confidence, compassion and global outlook we seek to nurture in all our pupils.

🌍 Another fantastic summer of international learning at St George's Ascot.

It was a pleasure to welcome Emerald Cultural Institute (Official) back to St George's Ascot this summer.

Over the past few weeks, students from around the world learnt, explored and created lasting memories in our beautiful school setting. Our campus was once again filled with energy, curiosity and cultural exchange, and we were delighted to host them.

Our Year 7 pupils brought the summer term to a wonderful close with their Summer Fair, raising funds in support of our three chosen charities.

From handmade creations and delicious treats to games, prizes and plenty of fun.

Our Summer Art Exhibition at the end of the term created a truly memorable celebration of creativity and talent.

While families explored the stunning exhibition, it was a pleasure to chat to many of the artists themselves, hearing the inspiration and vision behind their work and gaining a deeper appreciation of each piece.

Thank you to our talented pupils and dedicated staff for the enormous amount of work involved in preparing this event.

We are also incredibly grateful to our Catering and Domestic teams who, despite an exceptionally busy week of end-of-term celebrations, created a beautiful South Lawn setting and provided such a warm welcome and wonderful hospitality for our families.
