Some highlights from today’s World Book Day.

Happy St David’s Day, the boys had a delicious Welsh themed supper this evening, with beautiful daffodils decorating the tables.

The Leavers look pretty happy in front of their film last night!

We are thrilled to announce that are the U11 National Fives Champions! Huge congratulations to all the boys, we had three pairs in the quarter finals, two pairs in the semi-finals and our first pair played an exciting match against in the final, coming back from a game down to clinch victory. We also managed to win the plate competition as well. Thank you for hosting the tournament.

Congratulations Jasper on being awarded the Roxburgh Scholarship , a huge achievement from an excellent all-rounder. We are all so proud of you and we know Stowe will love having you there.

It is Shrove Tuesday and Rob is busy flipping pancakes for the boys .

AND ANOTHER! Huge congratulations to Matias on being awarded the music scholarship at Harrow, his beautiful violin playing, singing and his piano that he only began two years ago have entertained us and amazed us. I know he will love the music

Well done all runners in the Dundas Cup that took place today, but especially to those who won their age group and to Archie who won the cup.

Huge congratulations to Michael on being awarded an Eton music scholarship. The Director of Music at Eton commented “The number of quality applicants this year was extremely high, which makes his achievement even greater.” We are all so proud of Michael who has entertained and amazed us both on the cello and the piano.

A glorious day for the Fathers and Sons shoot, some high scores were recorded and congratulations to Simeon on being ‘Top Gun’. Thank you to Rob for producing a feast of a lunch for all the participants.

Another great match yesterday against giving the boys a chance to put their training to good use.

Great fives and squash matches today against . Some hard fought matches against great opponents.

Thank you for some thrilling matches today, both home and away. The boys were raring to go after having so many matches frozen off and the spectators earned a delicious match tea. Great competition and sportsmanship shown by all.

Thank you to the NHS and their Fantastic Fred production that came and showed the juniors the importance of food, rest, exercise and not too much time on devices! All making us feel much better and looking after our well-being and mental health.

The boys love it when the book fair arrives, time to stock up on their reading books. A wonderful choice on display today.

After much anticipation the beautiful new school hymn books have arrived and the Headmaster is carefully inscribing them for each of the boys.

The boys in the choir were so excited to be heading to for the Prep Schools’ Choral Day to be singing with hundreds of other children. Thank you Wellington for hosting them all.

Busy weekend at Sunningdale. Spanish themed supper on Saturday night, clay modelling, a games wagon and lots of six-a-side in the Astro.

Form III’s giant Matisse inspired work is looking wonderful.

The most delicious giant biscuits for lemonade today. Perfect after a busy rugby session.

Huge competition as the annual house relay took place. The boys might have been a little slower than usual after a holiday of delicious Christmas food!

What a night! Bust-up as always a highlight for the school and this year was no different. Delicious food, a magician and a ‘talent’ show. Such a special end to the term.

Mr Dawson and Mr Howroyd took on the boys in the last shooting of term, it was close, but the boys stole the glory in a tense finish.

Huge congratulations to Archie who has been awarded a sports scholarship to . We could not be more proud of him, from his first term at Sunningdale Archie has thrown himself into every sport and this award is fully deserved.

Staff and boys got into the festive spirit for Christmas Jumper Day.

It was such a pleasure to welcome the Warden, John Moule from to preach in chapel and talk to parents after. He had the boys rapt with his story of the perfect game in baseball.

Model club in full swing, the concentration is amazing. Some very happy boys working on their models.

Rob our chef listens to the boys at Food Committee. Lots of suggestions and idea, Belgiums waffles a definite favourite.

Deep concentration in art this afternoon. Looking forward to seeing the finished article.

What an excellent evening we had in London at our shared event with Hanford School Dorset. So many prospective parents keen to hear about the benefits of country boarding and wonderful support from our current parents.
