Evening people! I've just come across FREE swimming lessons for children that struggle with water confidence. Teaching your child to swim is a MUST! Really passionate about this, so if you child is hesitant around water, please take advantage of this! 💧💦🌊

Id like to give a massive, massive shout out to our Etti!
You want to watch a child grow, not just in size, but in confidence, determination, kindness and become an all round good egg!
This right here, is exactly that.
Etti has just signed a contract with Notts County for all the reasons above.
Can be quiet until you get to know her but inside there is a fierce little goal keeper in the making!

'But they're so small in comparison to your Year 6s, it worries me'

There is nothing to worry about! The compassion the children have, you would not believe.
They are taught patience, empathy, how to keep them safe and manage age appropriate risks, active listening and compassion.
It's a pleasure to support and see this daily. 😄

Tea & Toast Club — 1999 ☕🍞

I share this every year, not to compare or complain, but because it always makes people smile.

Back in 1999, before-school and after-school childcare was called Tea & Toast Club — and that’s exactly what it was. Toast, cups of tea, colouring, board games, tired little faces after school, and a safe place to just be before parents finished work.

Looking at this old price list is a lovely reminder that while so much has changed over the years, but the heart of childcare really hasn’t.

Children still need:
✨ warmth
✨ familiarity
✨ kindness
✨ someone who notices when they’re quiet
✨ somewhere that feels like home

As a childminder, that’s the part of the job I love most. Long after the prices are forgotten, children remember how they felt in your care and the memories they made ❤️
