Fantastic gesture from Richhill AFC allowing full community access to the new pitch at Richardson Park from 4pm daily.
We would urge folk to make the most of this wonderful facility, but in doing so, remember the two Rs: Respect and Responsibility.
Please remind your children of this if you know they are using it. It is a facility for the whole community, and if treated well and used responsibly, it can remain that way. ⚽️ 👏🏼
❗️Richardson Park Community Access Update❗️
Richhill AFC was delighted to make its privately operated facilities at Richardson Park available for community use throughout the school summer holidays. This initiative has been a great success, with many local children enjoying the facilities responsibly, showing respect for the venue and making good use of the litter bins provided.
As schools return for the new academic year, the facilities will once again be used extensively during the day by local schools, particularly our close neighbours at Hardy Memorial Primary School, for curriculum PE lessons and extra-curricular activities. Therefore, in the interests of child protection and safeguarding, the facilities at Richardson Park will remain closed to the public during school hours and will open each day from 4.00pm onwards.
We would like to thank all those who have used the facilities over the summer in a respectful manner and helped make this initiative such a success.
Finally, it is anticipated that our facilities will once again be opened for community use during the half-term holidays at the end of October.
