Primary 1 parents…this one is for you 💖🌈

If you’re looking for something fun for your daughter to get involved in, Brownies is starting back on 7th September at St Mark’s Church Hall, Killylea.

It’s open to girls aged 4+ and is a great way for them to make new friends, build confidence, learn new skills and have lots of fun along the way.

If you’d like to know more or get your daughter signed up just get in touch with one of the leaders.

The Board of Governors of Killylea Primary School wish to extend our sincere thanks and best wishes to Mrs Pam Lowry on her retirement after 12 years of dedicated leadership as Principal.

Guided by our school motto, “Small School – Big Opportunity,” Pam has led our small village school with vision, care and commitment, ensuring it remains deeply rooted in the local community while achieving standards well above the national average.

Her passion for Outdoor Learning transformed opportunities for our pupils and inspired schools across the province to embrace its many benefits. During the Covid lockdown, while other schools closed, Pam’s leadership enabled our outdoor facilities to become a vital Learning Hub supporting Key Workers and their families — work which was recognised when the school received a Highly Commended award at the Families First Keyworkers Awards.

As a Board of Governors, we are deeply appreciative of Pam’s caring ethos, high standards and determination to ensure every child was supported to reach their full potential.

We thank her for her outstanding service and wish her every happiness and blessing in her retirement.

Miss Rachael Hall leaves us after 2 years covering phased retirement.She has been a superb addition to our staff teaching in P2/3.
We wish her well as she takes up a new post in Buick Memorial Primary School.

This beautiful piece of artwork was produced in 2014 by pupils funded by and Armagh City, Banbridge & Craigavon Borough Council working in partnership with Killylea Community Association and .
It has just been renovated and reframed thanks to Red Fine Art Gallery and Framing.
