The children were busy helping to prepare ๐’—๐’†๐’ˆ๐’†๐’•๐’‚๐’ƒ๐’๐’† ๐’”๐’๐’–๐’‘ ๐’‡๐’๐’“ ๐’”๐’๐’‚๐’„๐’Œ, cutting potatoes and carrots๐Ÿฅ• The boys and girls loved helping and learning how to use knives safely, while developing their independence. We also made delicious ๐’‚๐’‘๐’‘๐’๐’† ๐’„๐’“๐’–๐’Ž๐’ƒ๐’๐’†!๐ŸŽ Everyone waited for their turn during our whole class activity to make the crumble. We've been busy exploring autumn and having lots of fun. We created some lovely autumn trees using sponge painting ๐ŸŽจ had an autumn train track and our little shoppers enjoyed our ๐‘ญ๐’‚๐’“๐’Ž๐’†๐’“๐’” ๐’Ž๐’‚๐’“๐’Œ๐’†๐’•, using baskets, a till and money to buy and sell the fruit and vegetables. We've had another busy week exploring ๐‘ถ๐’–๐’“ ๐’ƒ๐’๐’…๐’Š๐’†๐’” ๐’‚๐’๐’… ๐’”๐’†๐’๐’”๐’†๐’” through lots of fun, hands on activities ๐Ÿ‘€๐Ÿ‘ƒ๐Ÿ–๐Ÿ‘… Our ๐‘ป๐’Š๐’๐’š ๐‘ป๐’๐’•๐’” ๐’‰๐’๐’”๐’‘๐’Š๐’•๐’‚๐’ was a big hit, with the children taking on roles as doctors, nurses and patients.

The children practised their knife cutting skills cutting their own fruit and even tasted some lemon ๐Ÿ‹ We also went for a walk around the village to see what we could hear and see- some of the children spotted their shadows on the wall and others asked why the sun and moon where in the sky together ๐Ÿšถโ€โ™€๏ธ๐Ÿšถโ€โ™‚๏ธ

We've also been busy painting their very first paintings ๐ŸŽจ getting stuck into lots of messy and sensory play and learning to complete ๐Ÿ—-๐Ÿ๐Ÿ ๐ฉ๐ข๐ž๐œ๐ž ๐ฃ๐ข๐ ๐ฌ๐š๐ฐ๐ฌ ๐Ÿงฉ There has been lots of smiles, giggles and friendships made along the way!! ๐Ÿ˜

We've also had to ๐ก๐ข๐ญ ๐š๐ง๐ ๐ฆ๐ข๐ฌ๐ฌ ๐ญ๐ก๐ž ๐ซ๐š๐ข๐ง ๐ฌ๐ก๐จ๐ฐ๐ž๐ซ๐ฌ ๐ŸŒฆ, but that certainly hasn't stopped us!
