Sending all the love & best wishes to our 3 OHSPA girls, Rosa, Ada & Cara who are taking to the stage this weekend in The Bardic Theatre’s Summer Youth Production of Sister Act JR!!🎭

Rosa will be taking on the role of Sister Mary Irene and Ada & Cara will be rocking it in the ensemble! Have lots of fun girls!!!

Sister Act is one of our FAVOURITE shows, so we are gutted to be missing it😫, but KNOW you will be “fabulous!”🎶🕺🙌🏻

It has been a joy getting to spend the past few days with such a kind and talented bunch of girls, singing dancing and acting our way through the week! Well done to all of our campettes!!

A huge thanks also our Senior girls, Orla, Farrah, Cara & Amy for all of their invaluable help this week!!🫶

Looking forward to ending the Summer with our Junior & Senior Musical Theatre Summer Camp commencing on 10th August!!🎭

Shoutout to our very own real-life Elle Woods!!👩‍⚖️👏🏼🩷⚖️

On that note, it is SO important to highlight that Speech & Drama and performing are of such benefit in SO many areas of life!!

Whilst we absolutely love our OHSPA weekends, we also rely on the very disciplines and skills these experiences help to develop in our other roles.

Whether your future lies in performing, or takes you in a completely different direction, we are both incredibly passionate about the importance of public speaking and finding your voice.

These are skills we are proud to pass on to our pupils. Doing festivals, exams etc yes are brilliant performing outlets, but they also build communication skills and self-belief that will stand to you throughout your life!!🥰⭐️

Tonight was one of those very special nights!!

Getting to watch our pupil perform in our all-time favourite musical was an absolute privilege❤️

Could not be prouder of our girl, Lucy Watt, who gave a phenomenal performance as Éponine in Alfie Boe James Huish Academy of Theatre Arts’s fantastic production of Les Misérables SE.

We remember the first time Lucy ever sang ‘On my Own’, we both jumped to our feet and said she would make the PERFECT Éponine!! And Lucy, tonight you really were!!!!🥹 Couldn’t be prouder of you!!!!🌟

Bravo to the talented cast and superb orchestra on an incredible performance! Huge congratulations also to James and all the production team! Loved every minute!!🇫🇷👏🏼
