Here are the official results of the first ever Primary school competition to be held in the UK or Ireland. Saint John's primary school in Middletown on the 10th June 2024. All of the 22 kids showed good potential.
With the IFA European Arm Wrestling championships 2024 kicking off in Poland this weekend, how amazing would it be if in a few years some of these kids are representing the UK and Ireland, competing on that stage in the under 15 boys and girls age groups. Then possibly the World Championships.
Maybe a few more will be inspired from next years P7's from the same school. Plus if other schools get involved it wouldn't be long before there is a schools competition in Ireland and the UK and then we would be slowly catching up with the rest of Europe.
Despite not having any schools competing in Arm Wrestling like the majority of Europe, the UK and Ireland still bring home more than their fair share of the medals.
