🌿 MEET PAM | OUR NEW OUTDOOR LEARNING SPECIALIST
We’re delighted to introduce Pam Lowry, who has joined the MessyPlay NI team as our Outdoor Learning Specialist.
Many within education across Northern Ireland will already know Pam.
Following many years as Principal of Killylea Primary School, Pam became particularly well known for her passion for outdoor play and outdoor learning, helping to develop an approach that placed meaningful outdoor experiences at the heart of school life.
And now she’s bringing that experience to MessyPlay NI. 💚
Pam’s role is a little different — and one we’re incredibly excited about.
She’ll be getting out on the road, visiting schools across Northern Ireland and working directly with principals, teachers and school teams to help them unlock the potential of their outdoor spaces.
That means looking beyond simply adding equipment.
🌱 How can this space encourage better play?
🌱 What opportunities are we missing?
🌱 How can outdoor areas support learning, imagination, movement and exploration?
🌱 How can we make better use of the space and budget a school already has?
🌱 And, most importantly, what will actually work for the children who use it every day?
Pam will bring ideas, practical experience, best-practice guidance and a genuine understanding of schools to those conversations.
For us, this appointment represents another important step in how MessyPlay NI works with schools.
We don’t just want to manufacture and supply outdoor play equipment.
We want to help schools create better opportunities for play.
And we couldn’t think of anyone better to help us do that.
