Building Skills. Building Confidence. Building Futures. 🔨❤️
Every week, we welcome members of the IncredABLE team into our workshop for a few hours as part of our ongoing partnership, giving them the opportunity to develop practical woodworking and manufacturing skills while contributing to live projects.
Today's session saw everyone working on products that will soon make a real difference across Northern Ireland.
🔹 Ryan helped assemble one of our bespoke triangle dens, which is destined for a local special school, creating a space where children can play, learn and thrive.
🔹 Alec worked alongside our woodworking team, drilling fixing holes for a large timber planter that will form part of a community project in Belfast.
🔹 Ciaran helped manufacture one of our wheelchair-accessible planters, which will be installed as part of a larger Belfast City Council project, helping create more inclusive outdoor spaces.
These aren't training pieces or mock-ups—they're real products, built to the same standards as every item that leaves our factory.
By working alongside our experienced craftsmen, the team learn practical techniques, safe working practices and gain the confidence that comes from seeing their work become part of projects that benefit schools and communities.
At MessyPlay NI, we believe inclusion means creating meaningful opportunities. It's about investing time, sharing knowledge and recognising that everyone has something valuable to contribute.
We're incredibly proud of this partnership with IncredABLE and look forward to welcoming Ryan, Alec and Ciaran back into the workshop next week to continue building both products and skills.
Because the best projects don't just create better places—they create better opportunities for people.
