Christmas Club now open! 🎅

We were informed about this & it was such a brilliant event last week.

Tomorrow it is in Armagh City Hotel from 11am till 2pm
The boys are 13 & 11 but we found it helpful in regards to support for the boys to learn what is out there. Organisations we didn’t even know about!

Southern Health and Social Care Trust organised this to a T so be great if as many as possible popped in!!

Pearse is a regular and he and his family were one of the first families through the door when we opened. His family recently started Pushing Pearse's Potential to ensure that Pearse got access to things that help him reach his potential!

He now is famous! We would get to congratulate Pearse and his family as he recently got appointed first child Ambassador for communication with The Global Charter for Nonspeaking People. We also believe communication comes in all shapes and forms and everyone’s voice is important!!

Such a wonderful achievement as Pearse voice matters. Seeing Pearse develop and strive is a honour for us and we were so delighted to see him and his family back on Saturday!!

Wishing Pearse all the best in his role and no better person to do the job!!

💜💚 MEET OUR FIRST EVER CHILD AMBASSADOR FOR COMMUNICATION 💚💜

Today, on Nonspeaking Awareness Day — 30th September, we are incredibly proud to introduce Pearse as our very first Child Ambassador for Communication. ⭐️

We chose Pearse because he represents so much of what this day stands for: inclusion, courage, individuality, connection and the belief that every child has something to say.

Pearse reminds us that communication doesn't look the same for everyone. It can be through Eye Gaze, gestures, signs, facial expressions, movement, art, music, writing, technology or simply being understood by those around you.

💜 Pearse is kind.
💚 Pearse is brave.
💜 Pearse is inspirational.
💚 Pearse shows us what inclusion can look like.
💜 And Pearse reminds us that communication is a human right.

We are honoured to have him represent our awareness work and to celebrate alongside him today.

Pearse may communicate differently, but his presence speaks volumes. 💜💚
